Dear Applicants,

The Embassy of Hungary in the State of Qatar hereby would like to announce that from 7th of October, 2024 the visa application process will be outsourced to VFS Global. The visa outsourcing will include all C type, short term Schengen visas for Hungary, Denmark and Latvia as well as the D type, long term national visas for Hungary. Please note that in the future, in case of visa application the applicant has to visit the VFS Hungary Visa Application Center in Doha.

  1. General Consular Services

The Embassy of Hungary, Doha has joined the online appointment booking system for consular services. Appointment booking by e-mail, phone, or personal appearance at the Embassy is no longer possible. The only way to book an appointment is through the online appointment booking system.

In order to facilitate the administration procedure, please consider the following:

  • Clients only received by previously booked online appointment;
  • Please arrive at the beginning of the allocated time slot;
  • Please bring the required documents, forms, and attachments;
  • In case of illness, or symptoms of illness, please refrain from visiting the Embassy.

Payments for consular services are only available by card (or bank transfer made in advance)!

The Consular Section is closed on Hungarian and Qatari public holidays.
